For Leupold’s steel mounts, it all begins with red-hot, Strike Forged steel blanks. Leupold aluminum mounts are machined from aircraft-grade aluminum. We meticulously machine and polish each mount and after rigorous tolerance testing, we stamp them with the Leupold logo.
STD And DD Rings
STD – Strike Forged steel, precision engineered to match all STD bases. Five heights available. Anti-slip grooves eliminate scope movement in the rings.
DD – One of our strongest systems, designed for the hardest-kicking firearms. The twist-and-lock action ensures a solid connection with the base. Bases accept all Leupold Dual Dovetail rings.
QRW And PWR Rings
QWR – Detachable mounts, crafted from durable steel. The updated industrial design gives you more contact with the base for added stability and easier installation.
PWR – We’ve updated the cross-slot design of these steel rings to be stronger and to give them more contact with the base for added stability and easier installation.
Backcountry Cross-Slot Rings
Backcountry – This updated cross-slot ring design has more contact with the base for even greater stability. Machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for a lifetime of lightweight, rugged performance.
