The Magpul PMAG D-60 Is A Durable And Reliable Drum Magazine For AR-15 Compatible Rifles.
Magpul’s PMAG D-60 AR-15 drum magazine is their first version of a 60-round 5.56x45mm NATO (.223 Remington) AR-15/M4 compatible drum magazine. In addition to doubling the standard AR-15 magazine capacity, the Magpul D-60 magazine features a ratchet loading lever for effortless loading and can seat fully loaded on a closed bolt. This unique drum configuration is compact for convenient storage and easily disassembled for service.

Inserting an empty magazine and manually cycling the charging handle will not activate the bolt hold-open feature.
This feature may or may not work for weapons with bolt hold-open levers that don’t adhere to the Colt-spec.
