Ruger took the Secure Action of the LCP and fitted it to the Security-9, combining the trigger pull of the LCP with a short, crisp feel and positive reset reminiscent of a single action trigger. The Security has an internal hammer that provides a strong ignition force while also allowing for easier slide racking.
