The Mossberg 500 Hunting All Purpose Field Shotgun is the hard working field shotgun from the Mossberg line that you just can’t live without. This 12 Gauge 28″ barrel model is the perfect design for the modern hunter. The 3″ chamber will allow you to shoot either 2-3/4″ or 3″ shotshells. The magazine tube features a 5 round capacity when containing 2-3/4″ shotshells with a standard star crimp. Like with any other magazine feed shotgun tube capacity can be limited with larger 3″ shells or 2-3/4″ shells which have larger roll crimps. The stock and forend are high quality synthetic made furniture with a matte black finish. The standard length of pull stock contributes to an overall length of 47.5″
